Dallas police say the child was visiting his grandfather's house in the 8200 block of Campanella Drive. The 4-year-old wandered into the grandfather's bedroom and found a gun underneath a pillow.

I'll have to remember to stash my stash away in the future when I have grandkids or when nieces and nephews come to visit. I know this Grandpa feels horrible that his grandbaby found his pistol. Probably didn't even think about it since he doesn't normally have children in his house anymore.

We must be responsible.
