Hollywood vs Reality

This video might open your eyes regarding what LEOs are up against in deadly force situations.

Thanks for sharing it :thumbs2: . Having personally been through a fatal OIS and the aftermath I take them very personal. They happen fast, and the nightmare for the officer and their family begins.

I agree. In fact, it got me thinking that we should take all self-promoting marketing/sales videos from for-profit "expert" witness organizations with an appropriately sized grain of salt.

I find Force Science Institute to generate very interesting material. I enjoy getting the regular newsletter.

Many of the points they make about rush to judgement without the proper facts are also applicable to ordinary law-abiding citizens having to respond to a deadly threat.

Other "for-profit expert organizations", witness or other type, that should also fall into this category?

Good video. I concur that any OIS should be investigated by a team that includes outside LE agencies (state, county, or city). The aftermath of any OIS is devastating for everyone involved. I'm an engineer with the Federal government. I welcome outside review in all the work that I do. Outside review builds my credibility with the public.
My two cents,

This video might explain why the police thought Zimmerman was justified but the community organizer in chief didn't.
