Powder Valley Praise

Post by ddstuder »

Just wanted to give the folks at Powder Valley a nod! :thumbs2:

I have been using them for most of my reloading supplies since I started a few years ago. They have always been a pleasure to work with and have the best prices on components.

Since the latest round of hysteria manufactured by the Government, times have been hard for reloaders trying to find components. Through this whole mess, Powder Valley has not raised their prices, and has consistently kept a steady flow of powder/primers/projectiles. They may not show these items in stock during this rush, but they do update their inventory daily. You just have to check every day and be ready to pull the trigger when they have your items in stock.

Typically you could order from them and get your supplies within 4-5 days. Now with the run on, they usually get it to your door in 4-5 weeks. Sometimes it seems like a long wait, but they are kind enough to not charge you until the order ships.

Earlier today I received a call from them letting me know that my Credit card would not go through. The nice young lady verified all of my information and found that the CC number was off by one digit. Even though they are super busy, they took the time to call and make sure that I got my supplies. I have a feeling most places would have just cancelled the order.

Since the rush started, I have bought enough supplies from them to last a couple of years. I do not expect to have an ammo shortage anytime soon. It feels good to be self sufficient for all of my ammo (except 22LR).

To those of you who use them, this is nothing new for you. For those of you who have not, It is time to reward these kind folks with your business.

Now if they would just get some Varget in stock!!

Yep! It was a 4-5 week wait for my order of 8# of Titegroup. They definetly stand behind their name.

Yeah I just got 32lbs of VihtaVuori's finest delivered. It's hard powder to find in normal times, let alone during "the panic of '13", They have been doing their best, and if you check in a couple times a day you'll eventually find what you need - it just goes real fast!

Yep, I got some of that also! :anamatedbanana

Seems like VihtaVuori, was the last powder that they ran out of 5 months ago. I guess that was due to the higher price of that powder.

Sure is good stuff though!! Clean burning and easy to measure!

My last shipment from them included 2000 Hornady .224 55g FMJ at $0.10 each! Cant beat that!

Today I just started loading my first 300 AAC Blackout, and as I was getting the components out of the closet, I realized that I have more "In Stock" than Bass Pro does! "rlol"
