Hello All!

I have been reading this form for some time now, just have never posted anything.

I mailed my packet in on the 1st of May. Was in BG check for the past 20 days and....

Finally today! Status updated to Mailed!

So hopefully I will have it by Monday

Think I set another record.. Got pulled over tonight.. State trooper.. All went well he asked for license and ins. I had both hands on the steering wheel windows about 2" down.. Calmly said I have a chl and am carrying on my person, also have a loaded pistol concealed in the truck. He didn't hesitate.. Said no problem slowly hand over your info.. It was as routine as pre chl. He thanked me for being upfront and let me out with a warning..

The stop you ask? Haha. I had my windshield replaced and they forgot to move my dang inspection sticker! My registration and ez tag made the move... I showed him the email recipt.. He even suggested calling them to foot the new inspection fee

Update update...

5/13 - App mailed (regular mail, not certified)
6/3 - App recieved, Fingerprints Under Review, Background Pending
6/22 - Manufacturing Pending

Note: I checked the status on Friday, 6/21 and it was still Fingerprints Under Review and Background Pending, so the Manufacturing Pending occured sometime today.

Getting close to doin my happy dance... For now,

5/13 - App mailed (regular mail, not certified)
6/3 - App recieved, Fingerprints Under Review, Background Pending
6/22 - Manufacturing Pending

Logged in today and it said, "Manufacturing"... I'm getting closer!!

Mine updated to BG complete \ pending Manufacturing. Then Sunday changed to Manufacturing. Thday (Mon. 24th) still manufacturing! Looks like the May apps are pretty fast.

I'm probably going to be the longest waiting may app. Somehow when I submitted my docs online on the 5th of May my CHL-100 form was lost and I was asked to resubmit it two weeks ago. I finally updated to waiting on background check yesterday.

Checked my mail when I got home this morning and found the long envelope waiting for me in the mail box along with some sticky holsters I ordered.
