Lube/Sizing advice

So, my Mihec 452-200 LSWC mold arrived today. I'm pretty jazzed, but....

no sizer/luber.

When I cast my minies, I just do traditional pan lubing using a beeswax/crisco recipe (works great). I'm curious if sizing is REALLY necessary for 45 loads, or if I could just get away with pan lubing these boolits as well (yeah, I should ask on castboolits, but I know some of you here use the Mihec molds).

If you think I should get a sizer/luber, do any of you have opinions on the Magma Star vs RCBS Lube-a-matic (not too keen on the Lyman 4500, but I'll entertain favorable comments ).

If you don't want to spend the money on a lube-sizer right now, you could always get the Lee sizer for <$20.
You would still have to lube them.

IF you lived closer, you could borrow mine. It is just catching dust right now.

Yeah, I think I will most likely just do pan first. The Magma Star orders are pretty backlogged right now, so that gives me time to ponder ordering one.

I used the Lee Sizer with ALOX for thousands of Mihec 452-200 LSWC and other 200 gr LSWC molds with zero problems.

I eventually purchased a Magma Star Lube-sizer, but my primary interest there was some other calibers first. The .45 ACP was just an add-on to an already purchased Star at that point.

In fact, if you want to purchase my Lee .452 Sizer kit with a bottle of Alox, I'll sell it to you for $20 shipped. Just sitting on a shelf unused these days.

The Magma Star Lube-sizer is a heckofa good lube/sizer..!!
Wish I had one....I love the push-through design.
The Lee sizer is the basic same design without the lube part. (except for Alox )
I bought a bunch of them for the calibers I use just for the heck of it. They work fine for what they were designed for.
I also own a lowly RCBS Lube/Sizer...Just wish it was push through..!!
Also have pan lubed, it's a pain in the rear, but gets the job done on a budget.

I've seen the Automated Magma Star Lube-sizer in action, look on YouTube for the video.
Very cool.

I like my lyman lubrasizer. Works well for me and isn't as expensive.

I have a Lyman 450 that was my dad's it still does the job no need to buy anything else.
