Anyone Ever Done Any Trench Style Stock Carvings?
I love military surplus rifles, and have always liked getting guns that have carvings from soldiers, so I have done a couple stock carvings myself. I have a Polish milled AK that I carved my family crest into one side, and a Texas flag into the other. I'll try to get up pictures in a little bit. Have any of ya'll ever done any "trench" sytle carvings on your firearms?

I will post a couple up. They aren't amazing by any means, but neither were most of the ones the soldiers did. They me see what I can do...

I have since removed that ugly black plastic pistol grip and put on a wood one.

Looks like your doing good work , how did you get interested in it . I'v seen lots of trench art , mainly brass artillery shells made into everything you can think of .

I love WWI/WWII military firearms, and have had several rifles that had numbers or initials carved into the stock by whoever was issued that weapon. I figured I would "put my mark" on my AK, because that's one rifle I will never get rif of. They came out pretty good. I didn't want them to come out perfect and sort of look crude, like you find on milsurp rifle stocks. I guess it looks pretty good for what I was wanting.
