You're welcome. It might work better with a lighter gun like the LCP or an Airweight revolver. My Mustang is one of the older versions so it weighs about 20 oz. loaded. It's probably a little on the heavy side for carrying Flashbang style.

I carry IWB most of the time - M&P 9C appendix in a Comptac Minotaur LOVE it! P238 appendix in a combo holter similar to the Minotaur by a holster maker that disappeared unfortunately. I have a Kholster for my Colt snubby .38. I also have a couple of holster purses, but am not a huge fan of off body carry. I wear scrubs at work and use a belly band - typically with my .380 or .38, but have used with my 9mm. Looking into a PT 1 or PT2 for an option as well as the Remora!

Things I have learned over the past 2.5 years -
Wear a cami!
Get and use at least one good belt - I now have 3, 1" leather gunbelt, 1.5" leather gunbelt, 1.5" Nylon 5.11.
Put it on, cover it up and go! CArry everywhere legal. Bumps and bulges look much biggger and obvious to you than anyone else.

Get training and practice - God Speed and be alert!

Glad your plastic came!
After trying just about every method, I tend to use the appendix position to carry either a J frame or a S&W Shield. Most women are shorter waisted than men. We have a harder time reaching around to a cross draw shoulder rig and our shape often does not hide a gun well behind the hip. The appendix position requires you have to have excellent muscle memory for keeping your finger off the trigger while drawing and re-holstering. Avoid holsters that collapse so you have to fumble to get the gun back into the holster. You are pointing the gun at your femoral artery if you are seated or if you angle the gun muzzle inward "hunting" for the mouth of the holster. We all have a collection of holsters we tried, but didn't like much. It does take trial and error at least to some degree. I started with purse carry, but a narrowly avoided mugging convinced me not to put my means of defense into the very item thieves are focused on stealing from women. Congratulations! :txflag:

I have strongly discouraged my wife from purse carry for the obvious reasons. She carries her P238 in The Betty holster IWB appendix.

I'm going to say something that will probably get me fussed at, but I'm going to say it anyway....

Guys, let your wives decide how to carry...don't discourage, or tell her, or whatever...purse carry may be the only way for her to carry if she's wearing a dress and if she wants to carry in a purse be happy with that...

there are certain things that if you get too involved with you may just ruin it all for her, and this is one of them and she will stop carrying all-together.

I've got to credit my husband...when I started getting interested, all he said was "I'm jealous, you ladies have tons of options. I'll help when you ask" and he left it at that.

I'll stop now.

My wife bought the "Betty" and found it uncomfortable, she uses a crossbreed mini tuck with her sig P290 she appendix carries with it.
