"Idiot of the Year!" :smash:

Send her the link to this thread so she can see what responsible gun owners think of her inexcusably, ignorant idea...

Gang, more then 20 of us have responded so far...
A Nano safe is, about $20....... :tiphat:
But besides that..

If this mother, who as much as we want to condemn her ... is at least "thinking" of "safety" and "keeping" the pistol away from the child,,,, though admittedly falling completely so in her attempt..
Lets give credit where credit is due.. Some folks simply have NO training or upbringing around firearms, and being a product of their environment,, something like this is just what seems "right".. So

To the OP, if this mom is of the variety that just cant afford right, but clearly is wanting to do RIGHT... please ask her... sign up here, send me a PM...(or PM me if she is willing and I'll send a email address) we can chat a bit. and I'll send her a GunVault Nano.

That pic gives me the willys. I could submit dozens of pictures of my kid's "constructions." Like a stool atop a roll if tp atop another stool atop a toilet. When so many options exist, I just don't understand the thinking.

You know what else a picture like that is? Evidence. In the horrible instance of her intelligent resourceful child getting hold of that revolver and killing himself or someone else, that picture will be on an easel in front of the jury for weeks while experts show them any reasonable person should have known the child could figure out how to get it down. And what will the jury think when they are read this thread if it is admissible? Please do have her read these posts. Print them off and give them to her. She may be angry, but she will get over her anger. She will never ever get over knowing how her child died or was forever maimed and she will have little else to think about in the courtroom and possibly prison.
After raising 3 kids, I have seen just how resourceful they are at getting at things they think are no-no's and they are very well aware that when mom is asleep, she is not watching them.

Very NICE offer! Here you go for a quick link. May just have to buy a few myself. They really are cheap enough!
