I paid for it but I think the only differance is in what reticles are installed and updates not 100% sure. I also have some video(Ultimate Sniper) that can show you how to read wind with out a meter.

Sweet little App! At what mag the reticule is calculated? The max mag of the scope? I paid for the Pro version, then I cancealed the purchase, since with the Pro version there is no "reticule" function. On his website he was promising a reticule which works with all magnification of the scope.

Note, it seems there is a "plus" and a "pro" version. I will try to get the plus version.

The base version reticule does not specify the only magnification, I inferred from the "plus" version it is the the 24X for my Elite 6500. It is called the 1.0 scale and calibrated Magnification.

Gee, I don't know what's wrong with you guys' rifles. My most accurate rifle, a Remington 700, never shifts POI more than .5 MOA under heat. Ever. I think I might have once seen a group open up to 1" after an hour of shooting that load. Once. I have other rifles that are less accurate, but they are all fairly predictable, and the variation in results between cold-bore and hot-bore have always seemed to fall within the range of quite acceptable 'practical accuracy.'

I've heard of a rifle going "barn sour," but I've never actually seen it happen to one of mine......at least not in bolt-rifles. Semiautos are a different story. But with my bolt guns I've always found that once I find the load that works right in the gun, if I do my part at the work bench by keeping the rifle clean and lubed; and if I do my part at the firing position when breaking the trigger, then the rifle always does it's part until the round has been sent. Whenever it has seemed not to, it has always been traceable to something I've done wrong, or forgot to do something that I should have done.....but it has never gone wrong because the scope had loosened up over the years or because the rifle went "barn sour." Maybe at the beginning, when I first bought and mounted a scope, it has loosed up.....but not once it was dialed in. And that has held true in my Remington 700 now since 2007 when I first bought it.

Just lucky, I guess.
