A co worker of mine is very close to getting a 642. Academy has them for $374, it's on their website, and I've seen it in both their west and east plano stores.

That's what I paid for mine at the Academy in Lifkin. Easy enough transaction, just lay down the money, show your CHL, and fill out the paperwork (nopt necessarily in that order). The Academy $374 was the best I found in east Texas for this gun. However, Gander M0ountain would match the price, but their ticketed price is $450!!!

642, CorBon DPX and Bob Mika pocket holster. Add a loaded Bianchi Speed Strip and you've got an excellent 24/7 kit.
