Nice rig!

I'm gonna' give some serious thought to replacing my SA Compact Lightweight 1911 with my XD 9mm Compact as a CCW when we get home. That 1911 does get heavy and I have way too much gravity pulling on me as I am without adding to it.

Update:

All XDs pistols were recalled.

After 60 days mine arrived back with a different trigger/action system.

I did all the right things: cleaned, lubed, dry fired, range fired.

Today, my gunsmith examined it and explained the new spring system is the reason for the degraded trigger/action, not the spring tension...the design.

Sold it this evening.

Now the title fits the thread. Sorry it didn't work out for you Doc. Now you can take that fine piece of legendary craftsmanship out of the nightstand and put it back on your hip. Where it belongs.....
