Looking for a Mentor/Guide for getting my CHL Instructor Lic

I like to be prepared and would like to know all the ins and outs.

I have done my research, so I am not lazy. Any info I get I will pass along as well and I might be able to help you some how.

Once I get My NRA instructor license can i hold NRA instructor courses?

How Long does it usually take to get assigned to a class, Assuming I submit before 2014.

What are the classes like?

What is the test like?

Any study material out there?

Any recommendation on type of Pistol and Revolver? Caliber?
