Handled work from Cold Bore via a buddy and merely heard good things about the others. If I was doing it to a glock of mine it would be at Cold Bore. All do good work but they're closest and I've seen the end result.

I have several Glocks. I have them in the 9 and .40. I agree that they seem a bit thick at times. Much of it is my fault. I gain and lose weight like a roller coaster. When I am at the fat end of my weight, my glocks don't see much action. There are many choices that have a thinner and more comfortable profile for IWB carry.

Yeah I didn't realize HOW much thicker it got until the more I have handled a Glock20/21 the more I wonder. I am a weird build. X large shirts drown me and large shots either fit OK or scream GUN at which point I appendix Carry

I have the 20sf with the 6inch barrel and personally I wouldn't bother cutting it down. I don't think the velocity gain from the increased barrel length means much against an attacker. I can get a 180jhp to run 1320fps from the stock 4.6 barrel and about 1425fps with a 6inch barrel. I don't think the velocity gain means that much. The real benefit to the 10mm is when you can chunk a 220 hardcast out at 1300fps with 15 in the mag and one in the chamber. That is a pretty good woods carrry load in the lower 48.

I would just get the 29 and put the 4.6 barrel in if you want a little more fps. More then enough velocity for social work and the grip is a little shorter.

Most common I see is cut a 19 into a 26 grip or a 17 into a 19 grip.

That would not interest me but the photos shown below look cool . If I want a small grip I'll get the 27 or 26 and they shoot just fine. If I want the full size frame I'll carry the full size gun with the large magazine capacity.

I like the longer sight radius as well. If it was in budget I would just buy a 20 and 29.
