I saw this posted on a couple of other boards. Not sure what to think of it. I know the options are limited for adding a rail to a 1911 so it's nice to see a company come out with some innovative. Just don't know if it will catch on and if it does how quickly there will be a holster option available for it.

Definitely not my cup of tea. I don't even like the look of a 1911 with a rail, that was made that way.

Fortunately, there is no rule that everyone must like the same things I do. ;-)

Well this would cover the dreaded Idiot Scratch that everyone cries about, and give it the grip feel of a Glock

Not for me!
Guns are like parachutes, if your ever in a situation that you need one and you dont have one, you'll probably never need one again.

It's not for me, but I wouldn't think any less of someone who had it.
And at $50, it's cheaper than a lot of grips out there.

After years of using handheld flashlights when training with my 1911s, not an alternative for me.

Another really clever solution to a nonexistent problem.

It requires drilling/tapping, but this is what I would use:

Innovative and useful for those who want to run weapon lights. I'm not a 1911 fan though so not for me ;-)

I like putting holes in stuff with my gun - not so keen on using other stuff to put holes in my gun.
