I am so jelly of your new purchase! So when are you doing these sights? :evil2:
Well the sights that have come with high recommendation are out of stock and pretty pricey. So I don't know but needs to be soon because I cant see my sights AT ALL with low light and that is not something I am
Comfortable with or used too.

Christmas and the ice storm has set back an already strict budget. meprolights never have done me wrong but I may branch out if I don't get the Dawson's

Just as info, I had TRUGLO night sights (green front and rear) put on both my Glocks and I couldn't be happier. They are bright in sunlight and really do a good job at night

My gun range keeps them in stock, about $90 with free, while you wait, installation.

Have the shames sights on my G23. Love it.

I read some people having some holster issues with those. It may be another sight I am thinking of though. Have you had any issues?

No, the sights fit perfectly with the holster I use for both the Glocks. Holsters with designated sight channels most likely won't have any kind of a problem, but soft leather or suede holsters without a sight channel built into the construction might not work as well.

I don't often get too worked up over a holster, probably because I am so damn picky...... but after I found and ordered this one brand new off e-bay for $50 and $6.20 USPS Priority Shipping. A holster with a very unique design, it has a wide 'footprint' to spread the weight of a concealed carry gun. I ordered this one for my Glock 36, and the Glock 26 also fits it very well. It is a black leather pancake style, and has reversible, very sturdy belt clips that converts the holster from OWB carry to IWB quickly. It can also be used a couple of different was for OWB.... with the belt behind the holster, or with the belt outside the holster, depending on how one wants to carry it.

The holster has a built in leather sweat shield, a preformed sight channel, and is pre fitted for the gun you order it for. My Glock 36 and 26 both fit it perfectly, no break in was needed. I put it on, slipped the Glock 36 into it, cinched down my Instructor belt, and I was immediately impressed with how comfortable it is. I've been wearing it OWB with the clips on the back side and clipped over my belt, and to be honest, I forget it's there.

The price is good at only $50, and the quality is excellent.

Here's the e-bay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GLOCK-19-23-32- ... 3cd01f7760

The seller's pictures are so good, I'm just going to use some of his..... the one below shows the holster with the clips on the back side for OWB carry. Notice the holes on the front side where the clips would be reversed for IWB use.

The photo below shows how I am wearing it right now. I normally can't wear a holster on my right side because of scar tissue from the bone graft operation after I hit Bambi on my Harley. As a result I have been wearing cross draw from the left front for a long time. This holster allows me to carry back on my right side because of it's wide footprint and wide weight distribution of the gun carry area. There is nothing pressing in where the scar tissue is, I am amazed at how totally comfortable it feels.

I am so impressed with this holster, I've already sent the seller a message asking if he makes the same style for a Kimber 3 inch Ultra Carry 1911, and a Kimber Solo 9mm.

He also has both single and double mag holsters available in the same style, the one I bought from him fits both the 36 and 26 mags pretty good.
