Ive had them void a 4473 and tell me to restart it because I couldn't legibly write out Indianapolis Indiana in the 3/4 inch City State spot on the form. They also insist that you spell out Texas for state and the month of birth, again in a 1/3 inch long field designed for a number.
I have had to restart a Form 4473, but not a this gun club. The salesman stated that they had issues with forms that had crossouts and abbreviations. It's a pain, but I didn't let it ruin my day.
I purchased a gun a couple weeks ago and the gun store handed me an iPad so I could do the form electronically. It was very efficient. No more trying to write tiny letters in the small spaces. They printed out the completed form for me to sign. I hope they all go to this. :rules:
THat makes a LOT more sense for them .... less chance I will want to strangle them .....
It wasn't bullet trap...LOL. Maybe they will implement it as well. :coolgleamA:

Cabela's has the customer fill out the form at a computer now, is much better than filling out the form by hand.
