Im starting to worry now!
Hey guys,I'm a newbie here, its been about 52 days to be exact since Austin received my application,I 've been so anxious to know any info on it so I called them up yesterday to get some status info and the girl told me that the guy that is working on my application is going to send me a letter on some extra info that they need.I just hope is not any bad news since I was charged with a misdemeanor in 1999,but again I was a dumb 16 year old at the time.Does anyone know what kind of info they might need?

They are probably going to want documentation of the disposition of your case. If you don't have any, there are two ways to go.
If you had a lawyer, he might still have what you need.
If you didn't have a lawyer, you can get it from the court where your case was heard, or maybe the county clerk. I don't know how those things are handled in various places.

Don't sweat the small stuff.
It only took me 80 days to get my Plastic.
They sent mine back too. Seems that I forgot to sign the charge slip line for the charge they had run thru 4 weeks earlier.
It could be anything. One thing for sure, make sure you copy whatever you send to them, in case you have to resend it.

it depends on if it was an A, B or C misdemeanor.. they'll want info on the charges and disposition...nando wrote:Hey guys,I'm a newbie here, its been about 52 days to be exact since Austin received my application,I 've been so anxious to know any info on it so I called them up yesterday to get some status info and the girl told me that the guy that is working on my application is going to send me a letter on some extra info that they need.I just hope is not any bad news since I was charged with a misdemeanor in 1999,but again I was a dumb 16 year old at the time.Does anyone know what kind of info they might need?

Ok I received the letter Monday and they are requesting me to send them a letter of disposition or some kind of paperwork with info on my case, but since I dont have any paperwork I went to the courthouse to get a copy of my criminal background record and they told me that my record was clear, they could'nt pull anything, so they gave me a notarized letter saying that my record is clean.
