Another carry option

Post by SewTexas »

just stumbled across this bag. it's an alternative to the fanny pack. gender neutral. and smaller than a backpack. Looks interesting.

I understand some people may not have the same carry options I do, but I'm just not interested in something I have to unlatch or unzip if I need to draw my firearm.

That's pretty nifty! I can totally see the value in this especially when traveling or getting on or off a subway. Money bags are not so convenient, but very necessary. Not sure I'd like it for everyday, it's too sporty for my taste.

Get the camo one; no one will see it.

Now, if they made one that looked like a Klingon sash or a Tartan sash...

I'd use one for hiking. That's about it.

Much too festive for me...

Plus, not only do look they more than dorky (my opinion) having anything with weight hanging on my shoulder would drive me crazier.

It's def. sporty, it's not something I'd wear every day, but for hiking or travel or even running (not me!) it's an interesting alternative.

hey, I saw it and thought I'd show to you guys.

Interesting and clever.

I don't see it as a good fit for me, but it's an innovative approach that may work well for others.

I don't know that I have a use for it currently, but I like to know the different options out there because after all, situations change. Thanks for sharing!

I definitely like it for hiking and its something different. If I didn't already have a tactipurse for hiking I'd take a harder look at this. Hard to beat the maxpedition type bags as they can hold larger guns with ease.

I like it.

Not for carrying a pistol*, at least the primary one -- I just feel hinky about not having my handgun strapped right to me -- but it is an interesting design that could free up some pockets, looks like it would carry easier than a messenger bag or fanny pack, and would be very handy for clothing that has few pockets, like sports clothes. (Not, however, for tuxes like they show on the website. Fashion fail. Major fashion fail. )

From a security standpoint, I would be wary of putting all my valuables in it, because it looks like it could be stripped of over the head by someone who came up from behind and acted vigorously.

But still, clever idea in general. In fact, I think I will order one for my wife for her birthday. Everybody keep quite for the next six weeks! :thumbs2:

*Would hold a P3AT or LCP, or a snubby, pretty handily tho.

It doesn't look like there's a built in holster so budget to add one to prevent "accidents" if you carry in this.

I don't know that I would want to wear that around town, but for jogging, hiking, biking and such, I could definitely see it.
