Last week one of the officers at our school mentioned that his kids had gotten .22 rifles for Christmas from their Grandfather. They hadn't shot them because he couldn't find any ammo. Today (the first time I've seen him since I heard about the kids getting the rifles) I surprised him with 3 boxes of Remington 225 packs. Was fun to see how exited he was about the thought of being able to shoot with his kids this weekend. Worth every penny I spent on the ammo.

I have been saving up 22 because I was going to get my son his own bolt action 22. But he broke his arm so he can't shoot for another couple weeks.

First off :clapping: , :cheers2: , and :tiphat:

Now what will the holophobes think with you giving away a stockpile of ammunition?

I work next door to a walmart and walk in there before work every morning. I usually try to have three or four 100count boxes of .22LR on hand for others that might need it. I have a few friends that like to shoot with their kids and they usually know I have a box for them if they want it. I usually still have the receipt with the ammo and they just reimburse me what they cost. They just don't have the opportunity to go to the retailers early in the morning like I do.

Likewise, with other calibers, if I know someone who shoots what walmart got in that morning, I text them to see if they want me to snag it for them. I usually buy what I shoot in 500 counts so I can usually hook folks up better than walmart for a 50 count...lol
