I've never liked how snappy .40 was and I've never been that accurate with it, which is why I don't own a .40. .45 on the other hand I can shoot accurately all day.

Nice purchase! I'm new to Ruger myself and am quite happy.

Ruger must be happy with all of the purchases from Texas, lately. My son's wish for his birthday on 2/1 was a 1911 model .45 . I let him choose and he got a Ruger 1911 .45 from CTD on Thursday. Poor guy's working OT shifts so much that he won't have a chance to shoot it till next week.

400 rounds is a good day for that gun. I shot 450 Saturday with mine, no problems, sight still there. what range is that ? I used to live in Orange and Vidor years ago. My mother-in law still lives there so I may be coming that way soon.. :cryin I hate striker fired gun I am so glad I got rid of the last one I had and made this purchase. I will never own another striker gun.
