Personal Responsibility

Post by Larsin »

Love this new article by Jeff Quin -"Personal Responsibility & Firearms"

http://www.gunblast.com/Responsibility.htm

Might be one of my favorite quotes of all time:

Let’s state right up front that guns are dangerous. So are chainsaws, knives, drills, axes, automobiles, tractors, meat grinders, snowmobiles, motorcycles, hammers, roller skates, and pretty women. Attempting to operate any of these devices can get you in big trouble if proper care and training are not applied.

Great article. I don't particularly like the McDonald's coffee example, but I agree with the article in spirit ;-)
Proper training, practice, and discipline are all part and parcel of carrying a handgun. It certainly helps if you enjoy the training and the practice!
