So, that would add "animal abuser" to the list!

You've been very consistent in this thread, distilling the essence of what is most troublesome with what is going on in this case. I believe it's possible, based on available facts, to be on either side of the specific issue of whether Bundy is right or wrong, but as you have very succinctly stated several times, it would require burying your head in the sand, sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling "la-la-la-la" at the top of your lungs to avoid seeing how wrong the BLM's actions have been. Is there any question that our government has become far, far too at ease with raising arms against those from whom it derives its authority?
BINGO!!! There's a LOT of head burying, ear plugging and yelling "la-la-la-la" going on right here in this thread - and all across America too. We are the frogs slowly boiling, and the one's crying, "It's getting really hot in here!" are being laughed at by the ones who have covered their eyes.

Comment made to me on facebook after I made a comment to his post about the rancher should be in jail and I said simply Al Sharpton isnt.
"You are misinformed. This man is a criminal. He stopped paying his grazing fees in 1993 because he didn't like a Democrat in the White House. Grazing fees on Federal land are well tested in the courts and this criminal has been ordered to pay by court order several times. The Federal government has been more than patient. Federal Agents needed to be called to protect government workers doing their job. This man is a hero only to those who would wish to commit acts of treason and lawlessness. If that's what you want, move to Somalia."
Then, I posted a picture of a dead cow.
"You seem to side with these guys who fight the government, either refuse to use or lose in the courts, then hole up with guns. There is a theme here. I thought Conservatives were all about law and order. I guess you blow that out of the water. It's the same with these guys who threaten to secede when something happens in state of Federal government they don't like. It's Un-American by its very nature."
BTW in case you didn't realize already he is also anti gun. A lot of people out there just like this. They love how the country is being run and want Hillary in 2016.

Rebellion against a tyrannical government is about as American as it gets.

It doesn't help the cause when the "media" goes overboard on their rhetoric.
The Judge did not "rule" on anything... He did (it appears) express his qualified opinion supporting the "conspiracy" angle.

The Red River is the boundary between Texas and Oklahoma…or is it?
Byers, Texas along the Red River — The BLM stole 140 acres of the Tommy Henderson ranch thirty years ago. They took his land and paid him absolutely nothing. He sued and lost. Now the BLM is using that court case as precedent to do it again. The problem is, the land they want to seize is property that ranchers have a deed for and have paid taxes on for over a hundred years.
The BLM claims that about 90,000 acres (116 miles along the Red River) have never belonged to Texas in the first place. They will seize the land and it will seriously change the boundaries between the two states.
Sooo…. Now we have a bureaucracy re-designing state boundaries?
This same disputes happen fairly regularly between private parties, states, and yes even the feds.

What business do the feds have getting involved in a border dispute between two states? The only land the federal government should own is Washington, D.C., any land gifted to them and any land they have lawfully purchased. Any other land they lay claim to is theft, pure and simple, unless they pay market price for it.

Article III. Section. 2. "to Controversies between two or more States"
Was there a controversy between states? Sounds to me like the only one complaining was the BLM.
And shouldn't those controversies be resolved in court, rather than by bureaucratic decree?
Article 3 - The Judicial Branch
Section 2 - Trial by Jury, Original Jurisdiction, Jury Trials

A question came into mind this afternoon while I was talking to a co-worker. We dealt with many Union-Management issues and often we'd examine an issue from a reverse standpoint if it fit. That led me to ponder the following. What if Cliven Bundy had found a bunch of wild horses, and mustangs and burros on his land, they were there for years and no one from the government would help get rid of the trespassing animals. Would he be able to round them up and cart them off to who knows where or sell them for dog food and sue the feds for grazing fees? Or would he be sued and/or locked up and be labeled a criminal?
