I was speaking of the Ruger Super Blackhawk, not the Redhawk. The Redhawk is 58 oz versus the Model 29 at 48 oz.

I'm quite aware of the difference, and I'm at swapping the two in my head prior to my last reply. If this keeps up, I won't have any memory left by the time I'm 40!
I'm throwing in my vote for the GP100. I love that wheel-gun, and the longer the barrel, the better. I used a S&W 686 to qualify with for my instructor's certification, and it's a great gun too.

The longer the barrel the better accuracy for qualifying. Concealed carry may be another matter.

The GP100 is a real blue collar, working man's (or lady's) gun. There are prettier revolvers, slicker revolvers, smoother revolvers, and so on, but I love the solid, no nonsense GP100.

I was being a wise guy. It was at restaurant where I often have dinner so the waitress knows me.
She carded a guy who looked to be about 40, so I jokingly asked if she wanted to see my ID too.
Must be the dementia kicking in on my part.
My lovely wife recently arrived back at the RV after shopping at a nearby Kroger. One of the items she bought was six bottles of her favorite table wine. You get a discount with six. She is 61 but really does not show her age. I think she is more beautiful now than when we met. The teenage checkout person asked her for ID and it annoyed my wife. I started to ask why but decided to leave it alone because I would not have understood anyway....
I thought it was pretty funny.
