Rob and I got back to Dallas about 10:00 last night. Slept in til about 10:00 this morning and am still tired. Boy, we never drove through so much rain both coming and going as for this trip.

Even with the rain, it turned out to be a fantastic day for the shoot. Cool and with a light breeze. Rob and I had a great time seeing and shooting with all you good folks and going out to lunch with you afterwards.

See you all in September.

Maybe we're growing ....

Post by TraCoun »

It was good seeing LT and all you other folks at the match. As reported we had 55 shooters. That's not quite the record (63) but definitely above average. The record was just a few months ago. It sort of looks like our average might be increasing.

Another thing that pleased me was that everyone finished. We had no DQ's and no one left early. We are hoping to have the electricity and computer back by July, so Charles won't have to go home and punch in another 275 score sheets by hand!

Thanx,
TraCoun

 that just sounds painful. Thank you for doing all of that Charles!

My wife and I had a good time at the match and meeting a bunch of you. I shot pretty well - except I need to spend more time learning to shoot while backing up. The stage where we shot while laying on the ground was fun, especially when most people had never done this before, but found they could shoot very well.

I know it is a long drive to PSC for most of you, but it was nice that you were able to make the trip down south. That made our visits with you all the more nicer. Wow - Jbird was a whirlwind shooter - fast and accurate! Sorry we missed the plate rack extravaganza with Longtooth and El Gato and the gang, but we had to scoot back home to cook for another party. My wife and I did get Venus warmed up on the plate rack prior to the match. Love that plate rack!

Hope to see more of you in the future, maybe at the Forum day at PSC in September.

That plate rack is both fun and frustrating all at the same time, especially that tiny little triangle. I'll definitely warm up at the plate rack before the next match!

It was a lot of fun. There was also a good mix of easy and intermediate scenarios.

It was certainly good to meet longtooth IRL; he's a great guy.
There were also a good number of lady shooters; I always love talking to other lady shooters--we share the same difficulties & can help eachother out a lot. ElGato's newest student is certainly a good shot. (I hope she & Popshot's wife will register here!)

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

Agree with everything said before... Great to meet LS and others IRL, plate rack is FUN, PSC puts on a great match, and Jason....

When are you gonna stop sandbagging the classifier and move up to Expert? You were only less than 4 seconds off the only SSP expert shooter and 6 secs off SRVA (Master Class) and LESS points down than either of them. Great Job!!!

Perusing the scores I see the same thing should be said for CaptDave but I thought he was already Expert?????

And VP, if you think the Plate rack is fun and Frustrating, wait till Charles sets up the Texas Star.

That is the only thing I wanted to do that I did not get to.
Maybe in Sept.
