Suppressed XDM 3.8 .45?

Post by Syntyr »

Has any one tried to suppress a Springfield XDM 3.8 .45? I love my Xdm .45 and was wondering about a suppressor. But I am having trouble finding a barrel for it.

Thanks

That might compromise the concealability of your firearm.

I am talking off the cuff here....

You could always send your barrel to be threaded. I don't know the specs on the gun right off the top of my head, but I am sure if you contact a qualified gunsmith they could thread the barrel for you. That is, if the barrel meets the correct dimensions so that threads could be cut into it.

White Wing Weaponry in Denton has helped a few of our customers with barrel threading. I know you are in Houston, but you could always contact White Wing and see what they have to say.
