Combat & Ear Protection

Post by AlaskanInTexas »

Never served in the military. I was watching a show last night with an extended firefight scene. It got me thinking, when soldiers engage in battle, do they use any form of hearing protection?

Not so much, except at the range, and never in Viet Nam. Hence, I have a documented service connected hearing loss. That was 25 years ago and before.

Looks like they're at least addressing the issue. I think they've fielded some version already.
