30.06 Phone App
Is there a phone app that has 30.06 establishments? I think it would be cool if there is one that is GPS active that you can check if where you are going is 30.06. The map on Texas3006.com is a good resource, maybe an App could tie to their maps.

Look for CCW, GunFreeZone, Posted, and SpiritsTexas.

The Spirits Texas app works very well and will identify red or blue 51% areas.

I started writing one a while ago, but life got busy and I haven't touched it in months. Maybe if I have some free time this fall, I'll try to finish it.matchframe wrote:Is there a phone app that has 30.06 establishments? I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

I haven't seen an app that actually syncs to TABC data; they all seem to rely on user input... Someone asked me about a place today; I checked several apps, none showed the 51%. The place is 51% per TABC.

I looked for a wine bar with the "bar" setting; it didn't find it. It did find it using "Everything."RetNavy wrote:i have Spirits Texas loaded on my phone.... shows ALL locations with both blue and red signs.... can be set to you current location or general

Re: 30.06 Phone App
I was posting that from my phone... Could not figure out how to link back to Google Play. Had to go with the developers web site as second choice.TxLobo wrote:Thanks!
Not sure why Google play wouldn't find it.. I found it on my iPad.. so I went to the developer's site and found the link to Google play that way
