I Don't have an XDs 9, but it may be good to post your location.

" if anyone goes to a local mckinney or frisco area range"

I am thinking the OP is in the North DFW area.

Strange, I read the post twice, but obviously didn't read it "properly".
Thanks! (and sorry OP)

I have that problem cutting things. I cut it twice and it's still too short.

 ... I had to read your post twice. Then I got it. You were doing humor. "rlol" It is funny now that I figured it out.

Back on topic,
I also have the XDS .45 but I think I'm going to consolidate to 9mm and .40.
Picked up a gen 4 G26 because it was too good of a deal to pass up but not sure I've given up on the XDs 9mm. I'll probably rent one soon.

I don't know man.... You want to shoot MY gun before you get your own? That's like asking me "Your'e sister-in-law sure is pretty... but before I ask her out I'd like to try our her sister" I don't think I'd go for that (even if she might).

I'm fairly certain that eagle gun range in lewisville has an xds9 for rent. their rentals are only $5 as opposed to the country club range in frisco that charges $15 for a rental. eagle's range ammo is quire reasonable too.

Sorry, I do not have the XDs 9mm either. I only just recently discovered both of those handguns. I don't remember how I first heard about the 9mm, but when I went to a shop to see if they had one I found out about the .45. I posted that in another thread and still haven't decided. However, that being said, if one of you guys with the XDs .45 do decide to switch to the 9mm and consider selling the .45 I sure hope you post it here first because I might be interested. However, I'm also still considering some reloading equipment instead of a new gun, so ... IDK. I have a little money burning a hole in my pocket and can't decide what to spend it on and it's not enough for any of the rifles I'd like.
