Hypothetical - Which gun for end of times

Post by AlaskanInTexas »

Just a fun little hypothetical. Say we were in a time when society had broken down and you had the firearms listed in the poll on a table before you. You would be able to take one, and only one, of the firearms on the table (and you had no other firearms). Which would you choose and why? (Let's stay focused and not wander off into other options not listed).

I know you wish we wouldn't wander, so I picked one of your list closest to my favorite.

But I wish you'd have included the Noisy Cricket. That seems like it would be really useful when the zombies start to attack.

I would take the 10/22 for portability, both in gun and ammo. I will obtain more guns as needed.

AK47, have lots of ammo, lot of magazines, mine is a kvar, not a cheapie, and very accurate. Also, it always goes bang no matter how badly I treat it. It is a known fact that zombies will not attack if you have an AK47. Those that want to use a 22 had better have lots of bricks stored away from better times.

I would choose a Remington 870 pump 12 gauge and for close quarters a 1911, but if I could only choose one off of table it would be the Remington 870

I picked the Bushmaster. I'd want a multipurpose gun for the end of times and the Bushmaster fits that bill. Accurate, small, semi-auto and you can hunt with it if necessary. It also has that infamous, and super killy, magazine capacity.
