Thanks I love the guns, no ftf or fte on mine either.. I traded a gun in on these I bought just 3 weeks ago. It was Thompson custom 1911 will all the the goodies on it, checkering etc.. only came with one mag.. Every 3rd to 5th round would not feed and I shot over 300 rounds at an indoor range. I took it back to the place I bought it from had them inspect it found no problems. I researched this gun for a day on all the 1911 forums I could not find a bad review. I emailed Thompson all the reply said was they were sorry.. and sent a RMA What a shame it was a nice looking gun, I traded it in on my Ruger.. happy camper now :hurry:

Thanks they are shooters for sure. They look good together also.. I bought the Ruger case for them not quite big enough for all the mags I got.
I am using one Chip McCormick 8 round mag seems to be working good no problems yet in either 45. After the Thompson disaster I had I will never make that mistake again.

Most of my mags are Wilson combat, but I also use Chip McCormicks and the ones manufactured by Brownells. All work just fine, but I use the Wilsons exclusively in my carry guns.
