Public Land Shooting in Oklahoma
So my business has me driving up I-35 from DFW to Oklahoma City. I don't know the first thing about public lands in Oklahoma, but I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as to whether there are public lands upon which one may shoot along that corridor. Google has been of little help.

A friend of mine can tell you horror stories about shooting in Oaklahoma with a Tex drivers license and no Okla hunting license.I think it is still dove season. He almost lost a Belgium Browning 12ga.

There is a "range" on some public land to the east of 35 maybe a half hour north of the border. I have been there once a while back and don't remember the exact location.
It is an unmonitered sand pile essentially. When I was there, someone was shooting clay pigeons. I don't remember if I even got out my guns.
