I don't understand why people are not "up in arms" about this. I would expect something like this in a communist country or any country with a “dictator”.

The United States is the last place on earth I would expect this. I lot of men have died young fighting against governments that treat the people like this.

Have the people of the United States become so apathetic that they accept this kind of treatment from the government and politicians?

It doesn’t matter now if the city drops the subpoenas, the "gender neutral" bathroom bill or what they do. They have shown what they will do if given the chance.

Annise Parker should not have a political future. She should not even have a future in Texas. She should be impeached and encouraged to move out of Texas.
What were you expecting to see? City Hall in flames?
Well if you want the truth-I don't expect to see anything. This country is beyond that. I don’t even expect this country to exist as the U.S.A. in 100 years.

Now tell me the truth, what have you done for this country or the community you live in?
God Bless America, and please hurry.

I was just thinking this same thing a day or two ago. Are you reading my mind? Or are the Robertson's?

I got an email today. Here's your chance to stand up for the pastors with Ted Cruz.

I don't understand how a written copy of a sermon should be treated differently than any other written document under the Bill of Rights. Similarly, if there's no written copy, then a pastor would have no more (or less) obligation to create a transcript than I would to create a transcript of something I said.

Since the communist news media has chosen not to report this, I sent it to as many people I could that I thought might be interested. I even sent it to a few friends "out of state". I don't believe a person needs to live in Houston or even Texas to show their disgust with the Mayor.
God Bless America, and please hurry.

This subject has blown my mind! I'm absolutely astounded that this is even happening in my country as well as Texas. I told my hubby about it several days ago, he shared it at work to equally astonished coworkers. WHY is this not out for the rest of the state to see and hear?! Why is it being hidden by the media?

For me, the whole freedom of speech thing is outrageous and smacks of good old IRS Lernerism, but the restroom/changing room issue sets me on fire. :mad5 :mad5 I have faith that the pastors will win, but what about the rights of children and non-gender confused women?! This is exactly why I don't and have never allowed my young ones to go to the restroom by themselves. Oh and by the way, it's not just MEN allowed into women's RR, it's also women allowed into MENS.

I was recently sent a link to People of Walmart, half the photos of those "men" would be allowed into Walmart restrooms in Houston. The pastors presented evidence of horrible crimes committed against women & children in cities with this type of ordinance and it fell on deaf ears.

Ok, Mayor Parker, I just wrote my opinion here for you to see, using my much valued first amendment right! :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot:

Ha ha, yes that's true, but she may see it if she's expanding her search in a Gestapo Lerner fashion, you never know! ;-)

Someone should start organizing a protest or march on city hall so the media can’t ignore the situation. If asked Ted Cruz would probably march at the front. The Robertson Family might even be persuaded to participate.

We need a leader to have the courage to stand up and get the ball rolling quickly and some others to help him/her.

Do we still have men and women in the U.S. and Texas brave enough to stand up for what is right?
God Bless America, and please hurry.
