shotgun cheek pad ? Dallas area

Post by Sidro »

Can anyone tell me where to get a shotgun cheek pad in the Dallas area? Prefer silicone pad but will try leather, any help appreciated for an address. Wife needs it for her stock.

Both Cabela's and Bass Pro have comb kits and cheek pads - leather, gel, stick on, lace on, etc. But before you stick something on and possibly damage the finish - I suggest something like the Beartooth comb kit or the Wrapid Wrap kit. It will allow you to try different pads, heights, and locations before you go with a more 'fixed' solution. You might find the raising of the cheek weld changes the sight picture and there are targets being missed.

The Beretta silicone gel pad has been my favorite. It is a stick on pad, but can be removed and reused. I have moved it from one gun to another without any damage to either the stock, or the pad.

Elm Fork Shooting Sports carries it, but you can also order it (for a little less) directly from Beretta.

Thanks Crossfire, that is exactly what she wants. Shot there yesterday but did not see the pads, will check today for them.
