Beard Olympics
The North Texas Beard Alliance is holding its 4th Annual Beard and Mustache Contest Saturday, November 29 at Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. of Fort Worth. The TABC website has no entry on the 'gun sign.' No red, no blue, nothing. Neither does the Spirits TX app. The place is a brewery but their website says "TABC/State Law prohibits the consumption of any other alcohol on the brewery premises." I don't know if they have a 30.06 sign or not.

Re: Beard Olympics
If it helps anyone, a brewery is always going to be a blue sign. They are not allowed to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption or sell directly to the public, so it is impossible to have a red sign. This is true for all wholesaler/manufacturers, which is why the TABC database probably does not include the gun sign information in the database.
The only caution to this is that a brew pup (one of the places that brews their own craft beer for sale on premises) is not the same as a brewery and is not covered by my statement.

Re: Beard Olympics
Isn't the Beard Olympics a "professional sporting event" ....
Or what if it's on the premises of a barber school?
4/13/1996 Completed CHL Class, 4/16/1996 Fingerprints, Affidavits, and Application Mailed, 10/4/1996 Received CHL, renewed 1998, 2002, 2006, 2011, 2016...). "ATF... Uhhh...heh...heh....Alcohol, tobacco, and GUNS!! Cool!!!!"
