Went to DFW area this weekend
My dad took me the wife and kids out to A Day Out With Thomas this weekend up in Grapevine at the antique railroad and we had an awesome time, it was seriously a blast (carried the whole time with my supertuck with my shirt tucked in for the first time). After that we went to grapevine mills *grumble* I made a list of shops that I refused to shop at because of the 30.06 posting to let them know and why. In fact the only thing anyone bought there was my dad bought cookies for the kids, but I refused to drop a penny there. We went home for the night after that and went to Six Flags the next day and had another blast of a day I knew I couldn't carry at SF and didn't have a problem with it, on the way out I noticed that SF had a 30.06 sign which confused me as they were off limits anyway, but the sign was very very pretty carved into stone and all, almost wanted to take a picture of it. Just got home after a 5 hour car ride and ready to hit the hay, almost.

No they are not, unless they post that 30.06 sign. That's another one of those paragraph (i) exceptions, just like carrying in church.CrimsonSoul wrote:My dad took me the wife and kids out to A Day Out With Thomas this weekend up in Grapevine at the antique railroad and we had an awesome time, it was seriously a blast (carried the whole time with my supertuck with my shirt tucked in for the first time). (b)(5) is the paragraph on amusement parks.(i) Subsections (b)(4), (b)(5), (b)(6), and (c) do not apply if the actor was not given effective notice under Section 30.06.

Don't they also use metal detectors and want people entering the park still? I haven't been there in ages, but they checked me last time I was there.Pawpaw wrote:No they are not, unless they post that 30.06 sign. I happened to not be carrying anyway, but I did not find a notice at sea world San Antonio. Has anybody seen 30.06 signs there? I saw some gun buster stuff if I do recall near the security officer checkpoint, but I do not recall any 30.06 signs. (Granted I wasn't actively searching, I was just looking around for one last time I visited. I'll probably go back in a few months, but it was making me wonder if people carry there.
