How very very sad. Prayers for this young man and the families, friends and loved ones. There obviously could be many reasons one would choose to end their life. My newest son-in-law's best friend killed himself Christmas Eve leaving a toddler son. Taking another's life in the process is far more perplexing. Maybe trouble in the relationship and the daughters were in his mind responsible. CHL holders are subject to the same shortcomings as the population. Perhaps there was some secret he feared was about to be revealed that involved the girls. The reasons may never be known.

I guess I just don't understand why the tormented individuals just can't take their own life but feel the need to take others as well.

The only good thing is somehow a 9 year old boy survived but he will need lots of help from God and his remaining family to get through the horrors that will forever remain with him.
