I was at a bit of a loss as to which forum to put this in. We don't have a "What were you thinking?!" forum. I put scare quotes around "shopper" because I have my doubts that this was just a random juxtaposition of good intentions. I'm speculating this was a MDA groupie.

Brandon, Florida -- A Lithia man has been charged after he tackled another man Tuesday who had a handgun in a holster -- and a permit to carry -- at a Wal-Mart.

I hope he gets to spend some time in prison but he probably won't. Too bad Daniels wasn't an off-duty cop as this guy would really be in trouble, if not dead. Still, it could well have ended with this nut job being shot. Maybe a few of the anti-gun MDA types will have to get shot or get some serious jail time before they get the message.
