Re: Remington to retire Para brand
When I was reading the article, this was the only line I was truly interested in confirming.Further, ROC will recognize and continue to support Para’s Lifetime Warranty promise on all Para handguns.
For assistance with Para warranty inquires, please call 888-999-9386 or email us at contact@para-usa.com.
I own a 14-.45 that I purchased new and registered the purchase with Para Canada (at that time) for warranty purposes. I am not particularly interested in selling the gun, and it is unlikely I'll buy any additional Para's, but I am glad to note they will still honor the warranty.

Re: Remington to retire Para brand
And here I was about to drill/tap a Para frame to add a light rail.....
though I don't expect Para to have much collector value after the name disappears, but I imagine 'asking price' for used Paras will probably go up.
While I would generally recommend an STI first, as a Canadian I'd like to see the name continue since its the only Canadian production pistol since the Inglis HiPower of WWII :-0

Re: Remington to retire Para brand
Well, I emailed Para Customer Service on the 10th, when I posted the above comment. A week later and zero response.
