KTRH Poll on OSHA

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

KTRH 740 AM news radio in Houston did a few spots this morning on the proposed OSHA rules on small arms ammo and components. It was very supportive of our position on the issue. There is a poll at http://www.ktrh.com that is heavily in our favor on the question of whether the proposed rule is a backdoor attempt at gun control.

If you have time, hit the poll even though we are way ahead. Yes, I know polls don't mean anything, but if ever one goes against it, it will be waived around by the anti's like a battle flag.

BTW, Channel 39 (TV) news did an interview with me on this issue and it should run on the 9:00 pm news in the Houston viewing area. The reporter seemed like a straight-shooter (pun intended) and I don't think he'll engage in any creative editing of what I said.

No, they came to my office and started shooting. I'll look 10 years older than I am, so don't let young children or people with bad hearts watch!

I actually didn't hear the sound-bite, but a co-worker told me they heard you on the radio this morning talking about this...

The poll clearly shows the sentiment of the participants, 90+ percent are in favor of this idea "not" proceeding...

I suspect the comments made on the website you linked in the other thread is very similar...My only concern with that is will our dissaproval be brought into discussion and consideration when any decisions are made???

If this issue is serious enough to get Charles pounding us to get to writing, I know its a considerable threat...

And the end-around nature of using OSHA to regulate and essentually stiffle our community and our right, is indicative to how desparate they are in exploring new ways to destroy this right...

I may have missed it, but I am glad Charles caught this...But did an NRA-ILA email alert go out on this??? I may have seen it, but somehow I am at a loss to recall it clearly enough...

My email has been down because of the Time Warner/Comcast changeover...Can't get the server to download until they are done fiddling with it...

Okay, somebody post the link to the interview so we at the other ends of the state can see it.

Yes, I voted as well.

Thanks, but I hate TV interviews, unless they are done in the studio. There's a reason of makeup people in the TV world!! I don't even recognize myself on TV.

Here's a link to the tv station's web site. There is a link top the video on the home page. Look for "Gun Control, an Explosive Debate".
