The only thing I could ever hit consistently with a slingshot was my thumb knuckle. :eek6

A bunch of years ago I could do all of that. I could hit an average housecat sized target at about 50 feet with frangible pellets.

Pretty amazing what the mind can do.

I recently read, though, that a number of the old west gunslingers used their sixgun's sights. Bat Masterson advised Wyatt Earp in that regard, if I remember the story correctly. I think Masterson was the one who said in a gunfight you had to take your time, fast. Earp put it differently, something like feel like you're taking your time with muscularity faster than thought. Something like that.

I am pretty good with a sling shot. I can hit cans just like he was but I cant hit anything out the air. I also dont "aim" when shooting. I've killed grackles while there on trees and once killed one on a telephone pole. I can hit small targets accurately so long as they are not moving. This man is very skilled.
