114th Congress

Post by gemini »

....is currently making me sick to my stomach. R's ran on promises to repeal Obamacare, stop illegal immigration,
2A rights and securing the border. They won country wide elections doing so. My Rep voted nay. But there are
several Texas US House Rep's with a "R" after their names that voted yea to todays DHS funding bill. Much to Barrack
Hussein Obama's delight. I'm politically ignorant. I admit it. But, if Kay Granger-R Tx12th, Michael McCaul-R Tx10th,
Will Hurd-R Tx23rd or John Carter-R Tx31st were in my district..... hades would have to be frozen over before I'd
vote for them. I can't be civil enough to even discuss John Boehner.....
I'm sure those much smarter than me can explain it all away. (sorry for the rambling)

The election Is over and all that stuff doesn't matter anymore. It's business as usual now. Make a good show to keep the illusion going of two parties battling to the end and continue the single "merged party" destruction of these United States. Most Americans have very short memories. They'll get over it and continue to vote Republican or Democrat. Outsiders will be marginalized and destroyed so who else can they vote for?

Both houses of congress and the executive branch make me want to vomit too. I no longer give a hoot about Washington or anything they do. Washington will continue to make itself irrelevant to most sane people and most of the States as well. The mere fact that States are passing legislation pre-empting and nullifying Federal action is a really good tell of where Washington is headed.

I would love to see the States start withholding all Tax Revenue generated within their borders. Pay roll tax included. How crazy would that be? Would Washington put Texas in jail?
