I can only guess what a "mankini" is, but it sounds disturbing, kinda like "moobs", shudder...

If you don't already know, as a friendly warning I would resist googling it and save your eyes. :eek6

C-dub,

I'll take your excellent advice, as that, that is seen, can't be unseen.

I started to buy one as a joke on a friend, but couldn't bring myself to do much shopping around. Too worried that the next site might have Larry the Cable Guy modeling them.

Yeah, he's a candidate for a man purse...as an accessory for his upcoming gay pride march.

Murses, make up, bursting into tears at the drop of a hat, used to to be part of something no man would get near. Now, guys are getting plastic surgery too. Yuck!

Yep, real men don't carry bags.

BTW, I ordered my new sling bag on Saturday, and it is coming tomorrow. I ended up getting one in FDE because the black one was actually a bit more, and the FDE was on sale for $99 on Amazon. This is the one I got:

Here's the Amazon page: http://www.amazon.com/Hazard-Rocket-Urb ... d+4+rocket

This pack is on the smallish side, smaller than it looks in the pictures, and it is available in either tan or black. I watched a bunch of different review videos online, all positive, and then actually talked to a friend of mine who it turns out has one and loves it.

And no, I'm not going to carry a mankini in it.

Indiana Jones was as much a real man as John Wayne, yes siree bob.

Though J.W. had to toughen up his real name (Marion Mitchell Morrison) which for some reason wasn't thought manly enough...
