I was surfing the internet and came across this headline about a man found with an "arsenal" of weapons: http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local ... 03091.html
I have always chuckled when the media labels a half dozen or so guns and 200 rounds of ammunition as an "arsenal." But one gun?
One gun does not an arsenal make

Well... I hate to be a balloon popper, but a collection, assortment, or any multitude of "weapons" is considered an arsenal. So one gun, multiple knives, and a baton can be considered an arsenal by definition.

I wonder if it was the baton that made the weapons "illegal"?

They are probably all illegal items. The attached article refers to the location of the offense as Huntington Beach, California. I'm certain the firearm was illegal, as well as the baton, and I'm willing to be a couple bucks that they have banned anything with a sharp edge too. California and their anti-life laws.
