Jade Helm 15, Walmart store closings, martial law etc

Post by mojo84 »

I do not want to get off on an anti government rant and perpetuate rumors. However, people on facebook and twitter are going nuts sharing and commenting on the recent reports of walmart closing stores so FEMA can use them to house people, Lowes fortifying their stores so the military can use them as storage locations, Jade Helm 15 is actually the plan to institute martial law reported missiles near Post (which are said to be just dummies for training) and the Canadian military is going to help our military institute and enforce martial law.

What is going on? This seems to be getting more and more people riled up and I am not sure I understand why. Most all of these reports seem to be from what many would consider "extremist" conspiracy sites. Do you believe there is anything to it? If so, what credible sources can you reference to support such rumor and potential hysteria?

Let's keep this to a civil discussion and avoid going off the deep end of anti-government rhetoric.

mojo84,

Any other sources besides FB and Twit?

I'm inclined to also think it Tinfoil Hattery, but I'll keep an open, well sort of, mind.

People are sharing various sources on those mediums. That's just where I keep seeing it. If you google jade helm 15 or walmart fema, you'll get quite a few "news" sources talking about it all.

I have ignored it for a while now but is seems to be gaining momentum like a snowball rolling down the mountain.

Lots of discussions among Oathkeepers.

I'm not a huge conspiracy type. That said, the government does not do something just for practice. There is a reason behind everything they do. Lastly, there is no such thing as a coincidence.

If martial law is put into place because BHO can't bear leaving his post, it's gonna be fun!

Or, has some other "out there" idea been put forth as a reason for the institution of martial law?

It's pretty bad when Infowars shoots down a conspiracy theory.

I wonder what would happen if they ran exercises like we did when I was stationed overseas. The local population would hear all kinds of scary stuff going on inside the base at all hours of the day & night, like automatic weapon fire & bombs going off.

The M-16s had adapters attached to their muzzle devices so they would cycle blanks. The bombs were simulators which were nothing more that a paper tube filled with flash powder. Those would typically go off immediately after a very low level pass by an F-16.

The whole operation seems pretty insidious to me. I wonder why the major news outlets and talk shows haven't talked this thing up and down? We first heard about it in February or March, but nothing out of mainstream media.

With what they were talking about doing it seems like the media would be all over this like crazy. :headscratch

Thanks friend mojo84 (btw before you ask I'm recovering well from the theoretical toe shooting in another thread)! I had some fun reading up on Jade Helm and found much creative writing. After due consideration I found the map of scope of operations:

Obviously there should be no worries about martial law even though Texas has been declared a hostile territory. However after further reading, I began to consider some writings which tie the operation in with the possible eruption of the super volcano at Yellowstone:

Before becoming alarmed, please note that there is a high probability that I am engaging in a flight of fancy or a moment of imaginative thinking. ;-)
Thanks again mojo84 for bringing this interesting reading to my attention.
