Not gun related but definitely of interest to some of us older gents I'm sure.
It's relating to the waiving of the fishing license fee for Texas residents 65 and over.

I did just have a birthday recently, but not my 65th yet. I still have a little way to go for that one.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

I just saw a women rep. announce to the house that this bill will be postponed until Sept.25/15 because it's national fishing day. What the heck is that all about? Can someone explain please?

She said it's because there was a better bill that would be brought up soon. It was her way of effectively withdrawing her bill.

HB 3481 is substantially similar.
