that's the first review I've read where there are detailed measurements of the components.

I purchased one the first year Ruger came out with them. Really a nice gun and great shooter. I did my CHL renewal using it shortly after getting it. All 50 rounds in the center two circles. I had only fired 50 rounds prior to that. One of my favorites.

I got the new light weight 1911 and love it. It has taken over as my EDC.

thanks for the link, gave me some ideas for my ruger....step1 is the barrel bushing , recoil spring/guiderod and MSH
