Well, It looks like the Raging Red is going to test the levee systems again. We're in better shape this time, but there still a few folks that are going to get flooded. We're close to the same levels we were back in 1990.
I was freelancing for a t-shirt shop back in those days, and we did a commemorative shirt about the flood. I ran across the original art for it a couple of weeks ago.
y'all be careful. the rain is going to hit us in awhile. I was going to wait up for it, but I think I'm just going to head to bed and maybe try to sleep through it.

Looks like the Brazos is slated to crest Saturday at about 50 ft., that'll put it about 6 ft. below the top of the levee 150 yards from my house. REALLY hoping it does just that.
