I don't think it will. The new law does state that, for open carry, it must be in a belt or shoulder holster. It may be semantics, but it doesn't say it has to be on the belt or shoulder, but rather just in one or the other. However, inside of your vehicle could be considered being under the MPA and I'm not aware that anything in there was changed. If that is true then loose as yours is in that picture would be in violation. And if I am mistaken, then I await correction.

Under MPA he is good too. Not visible from outside the car. If the law for CC did not change on the person or within reach and the same rule applies to OC, then As long as the handgun is in a belt holster, he is good to go too.

This is also what I get. The first time I looked at it I thought it was on top of the dash. I had to take another look before I realized everything was upside down and then also noticed the holster.

Back on topic, I've heard a number of people state that HB910 only addresses on body OC and anything off body (such as pictured in the OP) would still have to be concealed even if the weapon is in a holster.
