Sig P320

Anybody have any experience with one of these....particularly in 9mm? It's one of 3 or 4 pistols I'm considering for competition use.

I had one (full size) and would say it is an awesome gun. In my opinion it is on par with the H&K VP9 and the Walther PPQ. The ergonomics are SIG like and the trigger is like a SIG in SA on steroids. It has SIG accuracy but unfortunately the magazines of a P226 are not compatible.

I really like them. I have a full size one in my business inventory, along with two extra mags. If you decide you want one after test-firing one up there, give me a holler, I'll give you a great price (but, alas, the State of Texas will require me to add 8.25% onto that great price :grumble )

There is one discrepancy in the SIG marketing statements about the P320 platform. The caliber exchange does not work from 9 mm, .40 cal or .357 Sig to .45 cal. That means .45 stays 45 and the caliber exchange works only amongst 9 mm, .40 cal or .357 Sig but in any frame/ barrel size. A Sig rep confirmed this statement on the phone. There are currently 6 caliber exchange kits on the Sig store website, more will be available within the next few month or perhaps by end of this year.

The Glock 26/27, HK P2000SK and the SIG P320 sub compact are nearly identical in size and fit the same holster as long as it is a leather or Remora style holster.

I haven't seen her post anything on PF since about the middle of May. The lady knows her stuff. I'm pretty sure she is a gunsmith. If you can't find her on PF, she's also on facebook and still posts there regularly. Shoot me a PM if you want her contact info for FB.
