Crimson Trace Light Guard on Gen2 G19 or G26 ?

I have a Glock 19 with no accessory rail. The Crimson Trace Light Guard on the website says that it can only be used with a railed Glock 19. However, does it work with an unrailed Glock 19, too? Have you fired an unrailed G19 with the Light guard? Does it work or is it too jiggly?

Same questions goes for the Glock 26.

The pictures I have seen it appears the Crimson Trace locks on to the rail.
